Our Story
Built as a common space, not a courtroom
Braidwood Commons began with a simple idea: families need a place to talk that belongs to no one side.

A Village Common for Modern Families
Braidwood Commons started in Khon Kaen after its founders noticed how often family discussions stalled not because people disagreed on facts, but because no one had a fair way to be heard. What families in the region often needed wasn't guidance on what to decide, but a calm structure for deciding it together.
Our mission is straightforward: hold a shared, neutral space where relatives of any age or role can speak in turn, coordinate daily responsibilities, and keep their own routines running without one voice dominating another.
We work with households managing everyday coordination, shared caregiving, moves, or blended living arrangements. Every session and workshop is built around education and communication support only. We never advise on outcomes, and the choices a family makes always remain theirs.
The name Braidwood Commons reflects how we see our work: strands of a family, braided together around a shared table, on ground that belongs equally to everyone present.

How We Work
Our Standards and Approach
Confidential Sessions
What is shared in a session stays within the room, held to a clear standard of confidentiality.
Trained Facilitation
Our facilitators are trained in structured communication methods, never in advising outcomes.
Neutral Standing
We hold no stake in what a family decides, only in how fairly the conversation is structured.
Data Care
Contact details and notes are handled carefully and are never shared beyond what a session requires.
Coordination Support Rooted in Khon Kaen
Families across Khon Kaen and the wider Isan region often carry shared responsibilities across generations, from caregiving for elders to coordinating daily routines among siblings living apart. Braidwood Commons offers structured, educational support for these moments, drawing on communication practices suited to household coordination rather than clinical or legal frameworks. Our facilitators bring years of grounded experience in helping relatives organize practical matters calmly, respecting each family's own customs, pace, and boundaries throughout every conversation.
Curious Whether This Fits Your Family?
